This has a reputation, and information technology did non fail that reputation as a memorably bad "brew". Basically a sprite-flavored wine cooler, not actually a beer or malt liquor except by a loose definition. Fails as a beer and at only v% you would probably contract diabetes before catching a fizz. And I wasn't dauntless enough to let this thing warm upwardly to do any shut tasting. Ponderous

Beautiful crystal articulate color with a fizzy white head on height that vanishes quickly. The odour has a sweet citrusy aroma to information technology reminiscent of seven-Upwardly or Sprite. The taste has a very refreshing citrus flavor to it with a crisp sweet finish. The feel is more on the dry side with an acidic heat in the late cease. Overall, Zima is super nostalgic for me. It reminds me of beingness in center schoolhouse spending nights at a friends house and he would share some of his parents stash with me while we played ECW Wrestling on PS1 and chatted with girls on AIM all night till the sun came up. I wasn't aware at the time but if you get bored with the straight citrus season yous can drop some Jolly Ranchers upward in this and information technology'south like a whole new feel all over over again. Welcome back Zima!

If you lot tin't say annihilation nice then don't say anything. I'm not saying annihilation. I tried this once while on business organization in Iowa City. The bar owner I had come to know during my 2 weeks in town, and many trips to his institution, offered me a half dozen pack of this stuff, saying he couldn't sell much of information technology. I gladly accepted information technology then, took it back to my hotel and popped one open. Refer to the first ii sentences of this review.

Man I remember drinking these in English language course in high schoolhouse. Skilful times. Anyways, pours like to a can of Sprite, 7up or crystal pepsi. Yeah, that'southward the appearance of this "beer". I dunno, I mean, there are originality points, but then there are drawback points also in that regard. Maybe its a wash. Olfactory property was like, naught. Seltzer water. Could have been some psychosomatic feels making me think I could odor that citrus.
Sense of taste is like a very depression alcohol seltzer h2o with sugar added. Not pulling any lemon or lime flavors out of it like most clear carbonated beverages. Oral cavity feel isn't anything that smacks of barley. Or hops. This is really straining credulity to assign it the label of beer. With that said, at that place is nothing horribly tasting about it, it just doesn't really come to heed every bit something you want to drinkable when you desire a beer. It could accept other roles in the drinking earth, but doubtful it satiates anyone'south desire for a beer (that is of age).

A timeless rerelease of a fairly bland citrus booze beverage. I constitute the alcohol content high plenty to exist helpful, but the taste rather like some kind of flat Sprite. Frankly, I'd rather gild emphysema. That's from "The Simpsons." 2018/05/22

Look: Clearish w/bubbles when shaken.
Smell: Yep. Unable to pinpoint, but, yep, there is smell.
Gustation: Sweet alka-selzerish but, sweeter.
Experience: Soft, smooth, bitterless.
Overall: This i's fun to accept a few of; to drop an altered flavored candy into and 1st gustation the foam so remember that this is not beer. Never was and will never exist.
Still, an interesting collection of tastes.

12oz bottle at my a bottle share every bit a gag. It'southward crystal clear and highly carbonated. Tastes and smells similar alcoholic Sprite. The near interesting aspect was that several women refused to sample considering it brought back bad memories of drinking during their youth.

Poured from 12-ounce bottle into an Irish gaelic coffee mug. straight-up 7-Up in appearance: crystal articulate, lots of carbonation, no head at all. Aromas and flavors of light citrus. Quite sugariness, very light in body. This seems to me to be more of an alco-pop than a malt liquor, as the malt graphic symbol is underwhelming to say the least. A novelty at best, and one not worth bringing back.

A: You know the 90s...Pepsi Crystal. It must be healthier and more pure.
S: This is 'provocative' in the wrong sense of the word. Elderflower aroma is kind; I'one thousand surprised a sip followed the carouse.
G: I looked like I had sucked on a lemon and only (s)wallowed.
T: Summed up by: "It's like if you poured Popov into a Smirnoff Ice and called it a mistake."-SB
Hey, At least I listened to Biggie while drinking this, then nostalgia counts for something overall.

Look: Crystal clear and no caput, like a lemon-lime soft drink.
Olfactory property: Citrus with a very faint hint of malt somewhere in the groundwork.
Gustation: Same as the nose. Very mild citrus season, not besides different from Fresca, with the tiniest hint of malt liquor somewhere.
Mouthfeel: Thin and carbonated, like soda.
Overall: This isn't really a beer. It's more like a soft drink to help teenagers become drunkard.
